Songs are made up of notes and chords that follow specific progressions in order to create music.  That progression or advancement of those notes and chords within a song are directed by what is referred to as the Chord Progression or "roadmap" to where the song is going.  This fourteen(14) page downloadable Module(Chapter 9 of the Course) dives into how notes are represented by numbers and how the "mechanics" of songs are made up of a "pattern" of numbers.
